Decode Genomics and Research Center is a Government of Nepal certified “A” category Multi Super Specialty Reference Diagnostic Center, located in the heart of Kathmandu city, Bagbazar. Established in 2015 as the country's first Specialized Molecular Diagnostic Center, we have grown over the years into an “A” category Reference lab, offering a range of specialized departments, including Molecular Diagnostics, Cytogenetic, Immunohistochemistry, Flowcytometry, and Immunofluorescence among others.

Welcome to Decode Genomics and Research Center!
Since our establishment in 2015, we have transformed healthcare in Nepal as the country's first private sector molecular diagnostic laboratory. By introducing PCR-based testing for infectious diseases, cancer genomics, and human genetics, we eliminated the need to send samples abroad for diagnosis.
Our team of young, energetic professionals, educated abroad, returned to Nepal with a mission to enhance local healthcare. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we played a crucial role by helping the government set up RT-PCR labs nationwide and conducting over 200,000 tests in our facility.
